The Phoenix

The Phoenix is one of three modular housing projects planned for West Oakland by East Bay developer, Holliday Development. In partnership with Vallejo’s FactoryOS—a modular manufacturing facility— Lowney Architecture’s housing project brings supportive services and amenities to tenants residing at the 101-unit modular residential building. Managed by Oakland’s East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) with diverse care and assistance programs by Abode Services, The Phoenix provides dedicated space for residents to focus on regaining life skills, restoring dignity, and providing tailored attention that meets the needs of each individual.

The 101-modular unit mix includes studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedroom units as well as a separate 7,300 sf facility with community spaces, bicycle storage, utility storage, and social service offices.
