This panel reviews several case studies of current designs for San Francisco and other cities in California that offer progressive alternatives to the status quo.

Ken uses 2711 Shattuck as a case study for micro-efficiency housing and how “Small is Beautiful,” when designed right and projects can be “affordable by design” when leveraging innovative practices and technologies such as offsite construction.
