We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team! You will provide high-level administrative support for the CEO of Lowney Architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle administrative needs of Executive.
  • Arrange conference calls and meetings.
  • Plan work-related travel details.
  • Receive visitors.
  • Train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.
  • Oversee office maintenance and office management.
  • Track new client relationships and project contracts.
  • Tracking outgoing and signed contracts.
  • Helps support recruiting efforts (gather resumes, scheduling, and tracking candidates)
  • Onboarding new hires
  • Organize company events (Holiday Party, Summer Picnic, Internal Lunch and Learns) ​

Do you have the knowledge of a generalist, the creativity of an artist, and the organization skills to bring a team together with a common goal? Are you interested in seeing how your work can help change communities for the better? Would you like to explore how design intent becomes reality through documentation and coordination while loving what you do? If you can answer yes to these questions, then Lowney Architecture has a position for you! We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for managing projects, budgets, schedules, the architectural team, and clients. You will be coordinating design and engineering. You will be mentoring your team while helping them achieve their career goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • 15+ years of post-academic Project Management experience at an Architecture firm.
  • Interested in growing into a Studio Leadership roll.
  • Experience with multi-family housing projects.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
  • Extensive knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, and constructability.
  • Exceptional management, organizational, design, and communication skills.
  • Understanding and development of drawings from Schematic Design through Construction Documents.
  • Comfortable tracking plans through entitlements and permitting with the local jurisdiction and responding to planning and plan check comments.
  • Proficient in coordinating drawings with consultants.
  • Knowledge of constructability and detailing.
  • Proficient in Construction Administration including responding to RFI, reviewing submittals, issuing addendums and issuing bulletins.
  • Applicants must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must excel in working collaboratively and effectively with the ability to work on fast-paced projects through all phases of the project delivery, while fostering team spirit and an atmosphere of teaching and learning.

  • Proficiency in Revit, blue beam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, and detailing, and constructability.
  • Expert in coordinating drawings design consultants.
  • Exceptional organizational, design, and communication skills.
  • Understanding and development of drawings from Schematic Design through Construction Documents.
  • Applicants must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must excel in working collaboratively and effectively with the ability to work on fast-paced projects through all phases of the project delivery, while fostering team spirit and an atmosphere of teaching and learning.
Oakland, CA or Remote | Full-Time

We are seeking a highly qualified Job Captain / Architect with in-depth experience in multi-family housing or hospitality projects and a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience (4 years of which must be in the multi family housing or hospitality sector). The ideal candidate is team-oriented and has experience working with a project manager to create and coordinate documents and manage construction administration. This position is full-time. Compensation is based on experience and skill-set. The successful candid ate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  • 6+ years of post-academic, professional design experience.
  • Proficiency blue beam, and Microsoft Office.
  • 5+ years of on the job Revit implementation
  • Advanced knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, and detailing, and constructability.
  • Expert in coordinating drawings design consultants.
  • Exceptional organizational, design, and communication skills.
  • Understanding and development of drawings from Schematic Design through Construction Documents.
