The San Francisco Planning Commission recently approved 1721 15th Street, bringing 50 affordable for-sale homes to the City of San Francisco. The new six-story development converts an unused auto shop into a multi-family residential building – creatively maximizing density on the challenging infill site and utilizing prefabricated systems. The project is aimed to increase home ownership and provides 11 below market rate units, making up 28% of the base project.
Mission Local recently covered the project here.
