Situated between San Francisco’s SoMa and Civic Center neighborhoods, 1064 Mission is the city’s largest permanent supportive housing development. The project will house up to 265 individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness, with 100 units reserved for formerly homeless seniors, aged 62 or older. Additional services such as dental and medical services are available to residents by the San Francisco Department of Public Health’s Tom Waddell Urgent Care Clinic.
1064 Mission was delivered as a combination of site-built and factory-built modular housing. Lowney Architecture served as the Modular Consultant to Design Architect Herman Coliver Locus as well as Architect of Record of the factory-built drawings.
