Located on Broadway in Oakland, California, Lowney makes an effort to showcase Mercedes Benz luxury automobiles in a sleek, modern space, channeling a splendor reminiscent of the reputable brand. Lowney’s interior design aims to create a literal sense of transparency near the street level in order to not only showcase the automobiles but also to draw light into the deeper programmatic spaces. The project includes a large showroom, a customer lounge area, a series of sales offices, and a mezzanine level with additional sales space, a conference room, and a break room.
