As the anchor tenant for Oakland’s “The Shops on Broadway,” Sprouts Farmers Market was the first project completed as part of the Broadway Valdez Specific Plan. The plan revitalized the Broadway Auto Row, reconnecting it to Oakland’s burgeoning Uptown neighborhood, and providing much needed amenities for both residents and visitors to the area. The storefront opens onto a welcoming public plaza along Broadway, and is served by both street-level and rooftop parking. A second public plaza is located off of the rooftop parking deck, offering views of Downtown Oakland.
