Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, The Pruneyard is a large mixed-use project that includes a shopping center and office buildings. It serves as a hub for the local community, and is a well-recognized landmark along Highway 17. Last renovated in the 1990’s, the center was due for an upgrade to reflect its continued vibrancy and importance.
Lowney Architecture was hired by new owners, Ellis Partners, to tackle masterplanning and architectural services, upgrade vehicular and pedestrian circulation, and provide a new image for the center’s major public spaces. This included the addition of 149,000 sf of office and retail, and 158,000 sf of structured parking.
In addition to the major renovations and new construction, upgrades such as new paint, a landscaping refresh, new hardscape, and new furniture throughout the site were also designed and executed by our team.
